REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER SIERRA LEONE
Tourist Visa
- Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport, must have at least 12 months remaining validity and contain at least 2 blank visa pages
- 1 Visa Application Form, completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph required
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever and Cholera (recommended by the Embassy)
- Copy of travel itinerary
Business Visa
- Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport, must have at least 12 months remaining validity and contain at least 2 blank visa pages
- 1 VisaApplication Form, completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph required
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever and Cholera (recommended by the Embassy)
- Copy of round trip airline tickets
- A profile of the applicant's company and a letter of invitation from a registered company or organization in Sierra Leone.
- A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

The letter must explain all of the following: - Nature of business to be performed
- Name and address of reference to be visited
- Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
- The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
- Letter of invitation from company to be visited in Sierra Leone
