REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER TAIWAN

Tourist Visa

  • Submit your U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond the stay
  • 1 Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-Type Photographs
  • Copy of round-trip airline tickets
  • Letter explaining purpose of trip and plans for the stay in Taiwan
  • If you are NOT a U.S. citizen, also provide
    • A hotel Confirmation
    • A copy of a recent bank statement
    • A photocopy of Green Card, or proof of legal status in USA.

Business Visa

  • Submit your U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond the stay
  • 1 VisaApplication Form, fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-Type Photographs
  • Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary
  • If you are NOT a U.S. citizen, also provide
    • A copy of an invitation from the host company in Taiwan
    • A copy of a recent bank statement
    • A photocopy of Green Card, or proof of legal status in USA.
  • For all business applicants, a business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Taipei Economic Cultural Representative Office (TECRO), Visa Section, Washington DC

    The letter must explain all of the following:
  • Purpose of travel and duties to be performed
  • Name of reference to be visited in Taiwan
  • Guarantee of financial support for the applicant

Fees

  • It's Easy, Inc. service fee:
    • Same Day/Next Day Service - $105.00
    • 3-5 Business Day Service - $75.00
    • 1 Week/Non Rush Service - $45.00

    The Shipping fees are $25.00 for Overnight Delivery, $35.00 for Saturday Delivery or prepaid airbill. You may deliver the documents in person.
  • Consular Fee:

$131.00 per visa (issued in 48 hours)
$167.00 per visa (issued same day)

  • Include a check or money order payable to "It’s Easy Inc." for handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return FedEx.
